Jal Raksha ("water protection") is a volunteer-run flood-emergency helper bot for Assam, India, reachable over WhatsApp. It helps citizens request SOS/medical/rescue help, report resource needs (food, shelter, livestock), offer help as a volunteer, check the latest official flood alert, and look up their SOS ticket status — all in English, Hindi, Assamese, or Bengali.
This is not an official government alert system. For verified flood information, use the SMART AXOM App or smartaxom.nesdr.gov.in. For emergencies, call 1077 or 108 (Ambulance).
